Last Ditch
Last Ditch is a lesbian bar, performing arts venue, and community space in downtown Greenfield, MA. We host a wide array of performances and curated events, including live music, dance parties, theater, film screenings, drag nights, workshops, and so much more. Our venue boasts the best sounding room in the valley, a full bar, a great dance floor, and an outdoor covered porch. Visit us and see what we’re all about!
Accessibility
Elevator: Our venue is located in a basement, down a flight of concrete steps. There is an elevator located in the foyer of Mesa Verde (the restaurant upstairs from us). Inside the elevator, press the button labeled “B” to be taken to the venue. Please make sure to check in at the door on cover nights after you arrive. Bathrooms: We have two gender-neutral bathrooms. One is not wheelchair accessible, and has two toilet stalls. The other bathroom has a urinal and a wheelchair accessible toilet stall. Neither bathroom has automatic doors, so please let a bartender or door volunteer know if you need assistance with opening or closing doors. Seating: Our bar area is not accessible for wheelchair seating, but we typically have several tables around the room that are. If you’re at an event without tables and need one, please let a bartender or door volunteer know and we’d be happy to set one up for you. We have many places around the venue to sit down and rest. Lighting: The venue is often dimly lit unless the event is something like a reading. On dance nights, we have moving lights and lasers and occasionally use a fog machine and strobe lights. Sound: On dance nights and band nights, the venue is quite loud for several hours. We keep a supply of foam earplugs on hand. If the sound becomes too overwhelming, we have a covered patio area where you are allowed to take drinks (please note: this is also our smoking area).
